Before joining IDPR, Andrea began her career with a Southern California public affairs agency in its real estate division, representing clients such as D.R. Horton, ExxonMobil, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Harrah’s Entertainment and KB Home. Andrea then moved to the client side as the Director of PR and Media for a real estate developer with $1.8 billion in residential and multi-family assets throughout the Southwest. She later co-founded a PR and marketing consulting firm which led national and international media relations initiatives for clients including Realty Executives International, a global real estate franchisor, and Local Motors, an international automotive co-creation company. She then merged with a PR agency affiliated with Public Relations Boutiques International with offices in Denver, San Diego and Scottsdale where she headed the PR division, representing national and regional brands in the real estate, technology, health care, retail, F&B and franchise industries such as e-commerce retailer Tuft & Needle, Elements Massage, Amazing Lash Studio Franchising Corp., Procter & Gamble, Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® and Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
In recognition of her achievements, Andrea has received public relations industry awards for campaigns including Harrah’s, D.R. Horton, Tiger Woods Learning Center, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, NextCare Urgent Care, A Taste of Colorado and more. Furthermore, she has consistently secured editorial coverage in top-tier national business publications such as Bloomberg, Business Insider, CNBC, CNN, Daily Mail, Financial Times, Forbes, Inc., Newsweek, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, TODAY, and U.S. News & World Report, as well as lifestyle media such as Allure, Bridal Guide, Bustle, Buzzfeed, Byrdie, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, O, The Oprah Magazine, Real Simple and Refinery29 to name a few.
Andrea graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a BA in Communications, and she is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. Interesting tidbits about Andrea is that she has twin daughters and a son, two of whom gave her a crash course on food allergies which she has successfully aced. Andrea was born and raised in Los Angeles and has lived in Santa Barbara, Scottsdale and now calls San Diego home. When she’s not deep in strategy and securing wins for clients, you can find Andrea at the beach, doing yoga or cooking food from scratch.
