Ashley Brune serves as Vice President of Health Tech leading strategy development and teams with the greater goal of building and increasing positive brand exposure for IDPR’s suite of health and tech clients.
Ashley is a strategic communications leader with more than a decade of experience developing compelling public relations campaigns, driving positive news cycles and gaining notable brand awareness for her clients. She specializes in corporate communications, issues management, executive counsel, media relations, event management and CSR initiatives.
Ashley has served as a trusted adviser to Fortune 500 companies, healthcare systems and agencies, real estate developers, tourism agencies and nationally recognized special events. She has worked with notable clients, including Tesla, Google, Universal Health Services, Prominence Health Plan and the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange.
During her career, Ashley has developed and maintained strong media relationships by leveraging a deep knowledge of storytelling to drive brand awareness. She’s secured impactful narratives in outlets, including Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, Washington Post, Forbes, Lonely Planet, Travel + Leisure and Esquire to name a few.
With a proven track record of leading the development and implementation of effective public relations campaigns, Ashley has received industry awards for her campaign contributions from the Public Relations Society of America, PR News, PR Daily and an Honoree recognition in Ragan and PR Daily’s Communicators of the Year Awards in 2021.
Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations from the University of Nevada, a master’s degree in communication and organizational leadership from Gonzaga University, and has obtained her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America.
Outside of work, Ashley lives in San Francisco with her partner and their cat, Lionel. She enjoys exploring the city, visiting with friends and family, traveling and volunteering her time to nonprofit and professional organizations.
