Vice President of Media Relations

As Vice President of Media Relations at Interdependence PR in Dallas, Brooke Ezell develops media relation strategy and outreach while cultivating and maintaining media relationships with regional, national and trade press. During her nearly four years at IDPR, she has secured client coverage in publications including: Allure, Business Insider, Bustle, BuzzFeed, Byrdie, CNET, CNN, Cosmopolitan, Daily Beast, DailyMail, Daily Star, Essence, Fatherly, Forbes, FOX, Good Morning America, Harper’s Bazaar, HOLA, HuffPost, INSIDER, Inverse, Martha Stewart Living, Mashed, Men’s Health, Motley Fool, Nasdaq, New York Magazine, Nylon, NY Post, OK Magazine, O, The Oprah Magazine, Parade, Parents, People, POLITICO, PopSugar, Reader’s Digest, Real Simple, Reuters, Rolling Stone, Runner’s World, Seventeen, TechCrunch, TeenVogue, The Guardian, TODAY.com, USA Today, Vanity Fair, Variety, Vogue, Women’s Health, WWD and YAHOO! Lifestyle. In addition, Brooke mentors staff members to effectively work with media to earn desired client coverage. Brooke also leads IDPR’s Culture Committee fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
Prior to Interdependence PR, Brooke worked as Senior Media and PR Specialist in-house at Nerium International – a global relationship marketing company. During her four years there, Brooke started influencer outreach, assisted with executing the global communication plan and managed celebrity gifting suites including: Billboard Music Awards, Emmy Awards, Latin GRAMMY Awards and Toronto International Film Festival. Before her position at Nerium, Brooke worked at a PR agency specializing in restaurant franchises including Pie Five Pizza, Pizza Inn, Red Mango and Wingstop and a PR agency specializing in luxury travel and hotels in New York City.
In her free time, Brooke enjoys traveling and has visited 31 countries. She has spent extensive time in Latin America and hopes to visit Bolivia next. Brooke also volunteers with Chihuahua Rescue and Transport and has fostered 11 dogs.
Brooke studied at Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico and graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism (Public Relations) and concentration in Business. Brooke has also taken postgraduate courses at NYU’s School of Professional Studies.
