Marqui MacLachlan was born and raised in Sammamish, Washington – dubbed the ‘Friendliest Town in America’ by Forbes Magazine in 2012. She began her professional career as a sales associate at Nordstrom, where she cultivated teamwork best-practices among sales associates and fostered meaningful relationships with clientele.
Marqui served as the Diversity and Alliance Inclusion Representative on the National Panhellenic Council to bring awareness to and take action against human-rights issues during her college career. She created educational materials and established marketing initiatives to foster an environment of respect for every voice.
Marqui previously worked as an Intern for Interdependence PR before being promoted to Assistant Account Executive. In her new position, Marqui develops media lists and crafts pitch letters to editors, interfaces and develop a rapport with clients, and assists the team on executing campaigns with various projects such as plans, research, media relation activities and more. Marqui has worked with multiple clients, from the auto industry to the entertainment industry, working with Montway, Dorman Products, Ghurka, and celebrity client Bella Thorne.
Marqui received her Journalism and Strategic Communication degree with a Business Minor from the University of Missouri, Columbia. It is Marqui’s priority to build profound, intimate relationships with others in-and-out of the office.
